Privacy Policy

NovaBerry ("we", "us") is an independent game studio run by an individual developer, who publishes our games on the App Store as the seller. That developer is responsible for the personal data described in this policy (the "data controller" under the GDPR). You can reach us at novaberrydev@gmail.com.

Our games do not ask for your name, email address or an account. Our games and the services built into them collect:

• Device identifiers: the advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking, and the identifier for vendors (IDFV).
• A random player ID generated by our analytics service.
• Approximate location: your country or region, derived from your IP address. We never collect precise GPS location.
• Gameplay and usage data: sessions, levels played, scores, items used and ads viewed.
• Diagnostic data: crash reports and performance information.

• To balance difficulty and the in-game economy, and to fix bugs and crashes.
• To show ads that help keep our games free. With your permission, ad partners may personalize these ads.

We do not sell your personal data.

These partners receive data directly from our games:

• Yodo1 MAS (ad mediation): Yodo1 and the advertising networks it works with show ads in our games and may use your data to personalize and measure those ads, under Yodo1's own privacy policy. Yodo1 Privacy Policy
• GameAnalytics (gameplay analytics): processes gameplay data on our behalf so we can see how players progress and balance our games. GameAnalytics does not use this data for advertising. GameAnalytics Trust Center

When you use the support form, we receive the name, email address, game, topic, device (optional) and message you enter. We use them only to reply to you and never add you to a mailing list. Form messages are delivered through Resend to our studio inbox, which is hosted by Google (Gmail).

This website is hosted on Vercel, which may process basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the site. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on this website.

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment information.

On iOS, our games ask your permission (App Tracking Transparency) before accessing the advertising identifier. If you decline, ads are not personalized using that identifier. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

In some regions, such as the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, our games may also ask for your consent before your data is used for personalized ads.

Deleting the game stops all further data collection from it.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, or to object to its processing.

To make a request, email us at novaberrydev@gmail.com or use the support form with the topic "Privacy or data request". We will respond within 30 days and forward your request to the relevant partners where needed. You can also contact the partners above directly, or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Our games are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will help remove it.

Data collected in our games is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, according to each partner's retention policy.

We keep support emails only as long as needed to help you, and delete them on request.

Data may be processed on servers outside your country.

We may update this policy when our games or partners change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
